Benjamin Netanyahu
Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu was a captain in the Israel Defense Forces. He fought in the raid on Lebanon in 1968 and the raid on Garden in 1968. His brother Yonatan “Yoni” commanded the special reconnaissance unit Sayeret Mattel and died in Uganda after Palestinian Terrorists high jacked an Air France flight between Tel Aviv and Paris. Bibi has been serving as the prime minister of Israel since 2022, having previously held the office in 1996–1999 and 2009–2021. He is chair of the Likud party. Netanyahu is the longest-serving prime minister in Israel's history, having served a total of over 16 years.
